Black Country Blades followed up last weeks Birmingham County Cup win with a 5-1 victory over Sedgley and Gornal United West in the PayCare Open Age Division.  Tyler Goodyear opened the scoring for Blades with strikes in the 15th and 18th minutes.  

Jack Hill added a third on 40 minutes. Two more goals were scored in the second half by Harry Edwards on the hour and Kian Hyde on 80 minutes.  Sedgley’s goal was notched by Callum O’Connell

Assistant Manager Don Hadley commented, “It was a comfortable win played in great spirit with both teams attacking end to end but we took our chances better on the day”.

AFC Bloxwich tasted a first defeat of the season, going down 4-2 to Trysull FC, Jack Bowater scoring twice for Trysull before HT as did Reece Berry for Bloxwich.  2 second half goals wrapped up the points for Trysull, Tom Hayes grabbing a late consolation.

Brandhall eased to their third victory in the league by overcoming plucky Delph Runners 8-1.Kyle Armstrong opened the scoring after 20 seconds, Lawson Birch adding 2 more in the 5th and 21st minutes, followed by an own goal and Jakob Burrows strike before half time.  Carl Armstrong notched his second in the 64th minute, before emergency signing Mo Saleem marked his debut by adding strikes in the 71st and 86th minutes.  Paul Shaw grabbed Delph a consolation goal.

In the Over 30’s Division, HC Rangers won a thrilling encounter 7-4 over AFC Broadlands with hattricks from Dale Holloway and Ben Wilkins, followed by a lone strike from Adam Hill.  Matt Brotherton replied with a hattrick for Broadlands.

Warstones Wanders eased to a 3-0 win over Shere Punjab with strikes from Ryan Bradshaw, Ashley Southall, and Joshua Carvel.

Diffusion FC beat Wolverhampton Old Boys Utd 8-1 with goals from Dean Bennet 4, Simeon Richie 2 and Tony Fiero 2.  Luke Harpin hit a consolation goal for Wolverhampton OBs

MNF Allstarz overcame Casuals veterans 5-1 with goals from Luke Louza 2, James Cook, Aaron Dhami and Kyle Thomson.  Ryan Thomas hit a consolation goal for Casuals Vets.
