A TALE as old as time is coming to Halesowen this month as festive pantomime Beauty and the Beast is performed.
Startime Variety will put on their own version of the eighteenth-century fairy tale at Cornbow Hall from Wednesday, January 17, to Saturday, January 20.
Written and produced by Holly Mills, who also produced last year’s Pantomime Sleeping Beauty, the show will star Gemma Mills and Lee Ralph – in his first principal role.
There are also new and original characters, such as Boone, Garçon, Hickory Dickory, Bobbin, Papa and a Narrator.
A Startime Variety spokesman said: “There is plenty of laughter and good singing and dancing. A panto that should not be missed.”
Tickets, costing £10 for adults and £9 for concessions, while family tickets for two adults and two children are also available, can be bought by calling 07901 055685 or at www.startimevariety.co.uk.
The performances start at 7.15pm each evening with a matinee show at 2.15pm on the Saturday (January 20).
