MARKS and Spencer is recalling packets of fishcakes because they could pose a health risk to people with an allergy to eggs.

The brand's 2 Skipjack Tuna Fishcakes does not mention on the label the presence of egg.

It means the product is a possible risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.

The affected packets have a 'Use by’ date of 02 July 2016, 03 July 2016 and 06 July 2016.

Anyone who has an allergy or intolerance to egg and has bought the fishcakes is warned not to eat it but instead return it to the nearest Marks and Spencer store for a full refund.
