AN Oldbury teacher is top of the class after winning a teaching award for the quality of his lessons.
Modern foreign languages teacher at Bristnall Hall Academy Daniel Hipgrave won the International/Languages prize at the first every Teaching Awards run by the Academy Transformation Trust.
Principal Vince Green said: “Daniel is an outstanding practitioner whose lessons are a pleasure to experience.
“He displays a clear love of his subject and this is reflected in the enthusiasm for languages that his students display.”
The Academy Transformation Trust is a not for profit trust working with 20 primary and secondary schools and further education providers in the Midlands, East of England and South East.
The awards were hosted by best-selling author and educator Professor Gervase Phinn.
