It's Friday and we have made it to the end of the week, and what is better is that Monday is a Bank Holiday.

After a week that has given us a sun, sleet and showers the weekend will be one for the umbrellas.

But will you have a problem getting home tonight? well the trains and metro services in the area do not have any major problems.

However, on the motorway network is proving a problem for those drivers who are not fans of traffic.

Traffic has stopped on M5 southbound to recover accident between J4a M42 & J5 Droitwich with delays of an hour from J4 Bromsgrove. Your best bet is just to stay away from there if possible.

There are delays of 50 minutes in Torton on A449 Worcester Road through roadworks at A450 between Kidderminster and Hartlebury.

In the Black Country there are hold ups of of 20 minutes in Oldbury on A4123 New Birmingham Road heading towards Burnt Tree in Dudley.

A crash in Perry Barr, Birmingham is also having knock on effects across the city and Black Country.

There is still residual traffic after delays of 40 minutes two hours ago on M5 northbound between J3 Halesowen and the M6.

However, and this might be the safest bet after seeing all those black spots it might best to let the train take the strain.
