CHILDREN’S favourite Cinderella is one of two films which are set to delight audiences both young and old at Stourbridge Town Hall this half term.

Alongside modern hit Inside Out, both films will be shown on the special seven-metre screen inside the hall next week.

The live action Cindererlla, inspired by the classic fairy tale, stars Cate Blanchett as the wicked stepmother and Downton Abbey actress Lily James as Cinderella and will be shown at 2pm on Monday (February 15).

On Tuesday (February 16), there will be a showing of the smash hit animation Inside Out, again at 2pm, while follows 11-year-old Riley as her emotions try to help her through a life-changing move to a big city.

Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member for planning and economic development, said: “Stourbridge Town Hall is very popular with borough families and the recently-installed big screen is drawing in lots of movie fans.

“This half-term, we have chosen two top children’s films which will appeal to the adults too.”

Those wanting to watch the films are being encouraged to book early, as the shows often sell out quickly. For more information, or to book, call 01384 812812 or visit www.dudley.gov.uk/see-and-do
