THE Police want help to trace a young cyclist who mugged at 61-year-old woman as she walked through Halesowen.
The woman was on Bloomfield Street North at around 1pm on Wednesday, February 18 when a young man cycled up to her and grabbed her handbag as he went past.
The thief used such force that the woman fell to the floor, but was thankfully uninjured.
The offender was described as a being in his late teens or early 20s, of slim build, wearing a black hooded top with the make ‘Bench’ written across the top in white text, dark jogging bottoms and he was on a black mountain bike.
The young man rode off towards Attwood Street, with the woman’s bag over his handlebars.
Anyone with information to help identify the robber should call Dudley Police Investigation Team on 101 or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
