HALESOWEN Cricket Club is holding its annual bonfire and firework display on Friday, November 8.

The popular bonfire normally attracts hundreds of people to the cricket club and Dogkennel Lane will be closed during the event.

A spokesman for Halesowen Cricket Club said: “Bring all of the family down to the club for the bonfire and firework display on November 8.

There are not one but two fantastic firework displays this year at 7pm and 8.30pm and of course the famous huge bonfire.

“There also is a guy competition from local schools, fair rides, side stalls, hot and cold food and free car parking at Sandvik, Manor Way.”

A Dudley Council spokesman added: “Dogkennel Lane will be closed to safely facilitate the Halesowen Cricket Club bonfire between 5.30pm until 9.30pm on November 8.

“The diversion will be via Grange Road, Queensway, and Laurel Lane and the one-way order in Dogkennel lane will be suspended for the duration of the closure.”

Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 for under 16’s and concessions and a family ticket is £15.
